Support The Texas Zoo Enrichment Program!!!
What is
Enrichment and why do we do it?
The dictionary definition of enrichment is “to
make rich, or richer,” or “to better improve”.
Enrichment is an attempt to make the animals
environment simulating or challenging
thorough the use of toys, scents, puzzles and anything else that
might provide novelty.
In this way, the zoo and its keepers help to keep the
animals as mentally and physically
healthy as possible.
